Joseph White and his wife, Beverly, founded Glorious in 2013 with five members and a passion for breaking down the walls of racism, crossing cultural lines, and changing poverty mindsets in their community as well as around the world. The ministry has become a model for successful community impact and creating strategic partnerships with corporate, governmental, and non-profit organizations to develop innovative ways to improve quality of life. District Elder White is the husband of Beverly White, father of Alaycia, Thomas, Catherine, and Rachael, and father of 6 grandchildren.

ASSISTANT PASTOR & FIRST LADY
First Lady Elder Beverly White’s desire is to inspire everyone she meets on this life’s journey; “To live that abundant life that the death, burial, and resurrection that Jesus Christ purchased at Calvary.” She is a strong believer in living the Word of God as stated in Romans 8:28 ‘And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Eld. White loves the Lord first above all, God’s people, and the life that His mercies have afforded her. She is blessed with a happy, fulfilling marriage of 45 years with her husband District Elder Joseph E. White with whom she enjoys working closely in every aspect of The Glorious Church of Jesus Christ. She is also blessed with three beautiful daughters, one excellent son, one daughter in love, two sons in love, and six lovely grandchildren. She is the founder of two successful businesses, Innovative Fashions and BSW Alterations & Sewing Classes, from which she hosts her annual Mother’s Day Gala where proceeds benefited several non profits including St. Jude Hospital, and scholarships for upcoming fashion designers. Beverly is blessed with education and talents which have been highly recognized in the city. In fact, in 2013, Nov. 3rd has been notarized as Beverly White Day for all her works done in the city of Boston. She lovingly dedicates this day to the memory of her late mother, Lady Catherine Bristol. She is also instrumental in charitable works including her partnerships with St. Jude Hospital, “Hope 4 Haiti” with the goal to build a health clinic, her annual community clothing giveaway, volunteers at Rosie’s Place, visits the community nursing homes, and enjoys The Glorious Church of Jesus Christ outreach ministries. Together with her husband marital counseling and mentoring, etiquette classes for all ages, and the building of homes for teenagers in Africa that age out of the orphanage, the “Sisters For Sisters Ministries” where she and her sisters Myrna and Amanda launched a free sewing school in 2020 by supplying the necessary sewing machines to empower the next generation of independent entrepreneurs.
